ABOUT US
Grove Elder Mediation Services (GEMS5125) provides independent elder mediation and support for families navigating decisions related to ageing, care, and later-life transitions.
We work with older people and their families when conversations have become difficult, emotions are running high, or important decisions feel overwhelming. Mediation offers a structured, neutral space to support respectful communication and help families move forward together.
Our focus is on ensuring older people are heard, respected, and meaningfully included in decisions that affect their lives. This may include matters relating to care arrangements, living situations, health, finances, changing family roles, and future planning.
Grove Elder Mediation Services operates across Adelaide and regional South Australia and offers flexible options to meet families where they feel most comfortable.
OUR APPROACH
Grove Elder Mediation Services offers calm, structured support to families experiencing challenges around ageing and care.
Mediation takes place in a neutral and confidential setting. The aim is to support clearer communication, explore different perspectives, and help families work through decisions together in a respectful way.
Throughout the process, particular attention is given to the needs, wellbeing, and inclusion of the older person. Their voice matters.
The mediator does not take sides or make decisions on behalf of families. Instead, the role is to guide conversations, manage conflict constructively, and create space for families to reach their own outcomes.
No two situations are the same. Our approach is flexible and responsive to the people involved and the complexity of each family’s circumstances.
OUR MEDIATORS
Grove Elder Mediation Services is supported by accredited mediators with experience working with older people and families in complex, emotionally charged situations.
